My garden has turned into a guantlet (partly my fault, partly not). Anyway, I've started clearing it (did 3 hours today wohooo!!!) but there are some really nasty plants in there with thorns that would take your eye out, nasty prickly things etc. Also, I get terrible rashes on my hands from some of the plants that have taken hold.:-/

So.. I need gloves. I really want a pair that give excellent protection against thorns but I can only find leather ones and I'd like to avoid that.
Has anyone found animal product free ones that live up to their needs?

I was looking for some gloves, and there was plenty of none leather ones, but they were either thin or plastic. I needed one so I could handle very hot lights, so I had to opt for leather in the end. I'd rather have got none leather ones, but I needed some inexpensive ones and I needed them for the next day. I'd also been using leather gloves unaware on filmsest on and off for years.

If you shop around I'm sure you'll have better luck.

I've checked out the Kevlar ones - they're quite cheap over here in fact!!
