You're very welcome, hun! :sunny: Are you with me on PW? Very nice. hehe. I've been a fan of his for 10 years. :p
Thanks a lot, hun!! My first week was surprisingly easy! It's not as hard as people (ESPECIALLY non vegetarians/vegans, even though they havent even tried it!!) make out. :) And I'm feeling good. It's great! Are you vegetarian? :)

Are you vegetarian? Yes, DH & I decided to go vegetarian about a year ago after watching Earthlings and Meet your Meat. My sister has been vegetarian for 35 years, and vegan for the last 5 years and she really helped me to see the light! I'm very lucky to have her!
DH and I are mostly vegan, but as per many a discussion on this forum (!) I refrain from describing myself as vegan as there are some things that we still don't/can't do..... Anyhoo, I am aspiring to be vegan!
We have two boys, ages 5 and 3 and they are vegetarian at home, and one of them absolutely hates dairy anyway. We are not entirely strict with them when they are out of the home. Next year I plan to take on the school canteen as there are a very sad number choices for a vegetarian kid there and nothing for a vegan kid.

Two veg*ns in the one family....always a bonus! :)

I'm thinking I should do the same. My kids eat vegetarian at home but at school I'd like them to at least have a healthy choice, not all this sausage roll and pizza and banana cake crap!

Push to outlaw hybrid supercats
'The Federal Government has been urged to close a loophole that allows pet shops to import hybrid cats that are twice as big as domestic species and can jump two metres from a standing start.
The Invasive Animals Cooperative Research Centre says a number of pet shops are advertising expensive hybrids of domestic cats and the much bigger wild African servals'.
More here (http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/06/06/2267441.htm?site=local).
Just what we need - another introduced species to wreak havoc on our wildlife.

We (NZ) went through the stupidity of legalizing ferret farming for fur , about 20 years ago, they were warned about them breaking out , most of the sheds were by native bush . They didn't break out , the price of fur crashed , the farmers didn't want to kill them so they just open the doors ....we are still trying to sort through that mess .
Those pet shops should be picketed in the land of OZ that are selling those supercats , they hate that sort of thing .

As I've pointed out to you before, this is the Australian thread so rack off back to Aotearoa. (BTW - My friend likes your avatar! :D )
