This show is under fire at the moment for reinforcing stereotypes. I'm not sure that it does. I'm sure most teenagers are smart enough to see the joke.

Hey aussies, anyone know if Darrell Lee Red Licorice twists are vegan friendly? If things contain gelatin do they have to list it in the ingredients or will I have to email the company to be 100% sure? Any feedback would be great.

Anyways I'm in Perth so hello to fellow Perthies. I found some Kingland Soy Cheddar Cheese (casein free) in Garden City the other day and I made vegan nachos and toasted sandwich using it and I was pleasantly surprised - looks like I don't have to give up my love of cheese entirely! I'm hoping to move to Melbourne next year and I hear they have some wonderful vegan foods in their supermarkets.

All ingredients have to be listed, so if it doesn't say it contains gelatin on the ingredients list you can be pretty sure it's not in there. :)

LoL - it does look a bit bodgy the next day but it still tastes alright.

You should try what Kali does. He cooks it on a bed of onions with a bit of oil and seasoning and then half way through cooking, he puts the onions and stuff over the top of it and lets it cook a bit more (not to long apparently else it goes tough) The next day its really yummy on a baguette or sandwich. :)
