Yep, I'm a Canberran (Hi to everyone, haven't posted in here before, was too shy! Plus 99% of the time I've had no idea what you guys have been talking about!! Lol) I was wondering how Au Lac was, is that the non asian restaurant (I know there's 2 others out there but they're chinese or thai or something) that you have to make a booking for and it's only open about 2 days a week? (I live on the N/side btw).

I'm cool with Asian, I just know there's one out there that you have to book into and I think it's the only non asian one (soy allergic so sometimes things can get a bit complicated-lol). I'll have to give it a go. I haven't eaten any take away since I went veg 3 months ago! I'm over in Giralang, used to live in Hackett though.

Lol, beans also make me sick a lot (chronic health condition and food intolerances, sigh) so I eat them sparingly. Mostly I fill up on veggies, grains and lentils (seem to do okay with these for some reason). I also eat quite high carb (lucky, it doesn't seem to put any weight on me) not that it helps a whole lot but it's better than when I don't. But yeah, lentils are one of my favourites. I'm trying to introduce beans REALLY slowly, oh and I'm trying really hard to like seitan (so far haven't had a whole lot of luck but I keep trying in hope). Plus I have an omni hubby, trying to cook for my family is insane at the best of times :dizzy:
