It was all a ratings grab in the first place. Thought the public SHOULD be aware of all those, such as Belinda's sister, who have committed murder so we can be wary of who to avoid.... plaster their faces all over the place (include rapists and child molestors).

I'm surprised she's in jail at all and that some Civil Rights lawyer didn't help her enough.
You can be "white" and "adult" and kill someone, and get 1 year in prison, or "black" (ie: Australian Aboriginal) and "juvenile", and get 1 year for stealing a packet of biscuits.

I understand that. I also see the irony in that sentence about an aboriginal getting a year in prison for stealing biscuits, seeing that my ancestors didn't choose to come here but were sent to "prison" for stealing bread or some other relatively harmless thing. You think we would've learned something from that hey? As for mandatory sentencing I know that since we've had it in force up here the crime rate has increased.

regarding more states for oz.... i don't think we need MORE government! I agree with chook... lets ditch the ideas of states altogether! then maybe the state of origin series will be abandoned and we can all be relieved of another footy boofhead tradition!

I've heard talk of getting rid of the State governments..... apparently Australia has the most politicians per person. And we know what a waste they are (us tax payers are even supporting two governor-generals at the moment).

And for sure, do ANYthing to lower the amount of sport!

Carlo is a sexist arsehole, I don't particularly like watching sexist people. Or listening to them speak. I wish he would get evicted and not get a live show, his conduct doesn't deserve that sort of fun. Anyone who thinks Carlo is cool needs their head examined IMO, especially if it's a woman who thinks that (btw, that's not directed at you Kat New, you didn't say he was cool). I don't even find him remotely entertaining to watch, just nauseating. Belinda isn't my favourite by a long shot but I feel sooooo sorry for her.

I am against mandatory sentencing too. I definitely agree with what Kurm said.

i'm all fired up for the eviction tonight...

i had a big dilhemma deciding who to vote for between carlo and belinda. in the end i figured carlo is bound to piss enough people off sooner or later, so i went for belinda...

my hubby actually showed me some more info he found on a BB thread about THAT conversation and now i feel more sorry for her and a bit guilty!

i am not a shallow person, but i admit that i can be a weak opponent against my own jealousy of skinny pretty girls... it is a terrible vice that i battle everyday... maybe it has gotten the best of me this time!

BUT since Reggie has moved houses Belinda has spent alot of time bitching in general... it's quite funny because reggie acts the bimbo and smiles and nods a lot and belinda just keeps ranting on (like i am now, actually!)

i'm beginning to think that reggie's bimbo-ness is actually just a cover... she is actually totally clued in at it is a clever defense!

Carlo is gone, and I am soooo happy! I don't have a problem with skinny pretty girls (I was one once apparently) but I am amazed at how many girls I know hate Jo "just because"... it's obviously a jealousy thing. I feel sorry for Belinda tonight as well as Carlo completely ignored her. I actually don't blame Belinda, if I had spent 2 weeks having to be silent and being treated like sh*t and someone came in who was a sympathetic listener I'd vent too. She didn't bitch about Carlo anywhere near as much as he did about her. It annoys me how there's always this double standard, guys can always get away with SO MUCH more than women can... but at least the public showed definitively that Carlo's behaviour wasn't on... I don't think Reg is acting like a bimbo, she is quite fiery really. She's just a little more outspoken and maybe not as quick-witted as the others, but a quick wit is not necessarily a clever wit...

Has anyone watched Australia's Worst Driver? They have people who are bad drivers and put them through tests, and there's one girl (whose Mum is on the show with her) and I am sure both of them are faking it...... surely no-one can be as dumb as they seem to be.

carlo isn't my favourite kinda person by any means... but i really do feel that he was true and real, whereas with belinda she just seems fake... and i do find that hard to cope with...

after i doubted myself on this post tonight watched the show and thought... no it's true! she does drive me mad and that is that!

i was once a skinny girl too... but i think ive been too hard on myelf actually... there are plenty of pretty skinny girls out there i'm not jealous of... but belinda's fake style drives me nuts...

carlo is a loveable rogue... can't help it! i am one of those girls that gets on better with guys than girls too, so that may have something to do with it...
