Hi. I live in Briz Vegas - definately get Lotus brand savoury yeast flakes. I've found them in a few various health food shops around the place.

Are any Aussies, particularly teens and Sydneysiders, that are Straight Edge? A Sydney Morning Herald reporter is looking to do a story to counteract the "teens and drugs" type images of some articles. I guess someone not from Sydney would be okay, and could be interviewed by phone.

Damn, I'm not a teen, and I'm not in Sydney...

22 and in Melbourne, but I've been straight edge since I was 17 or 18. I wanna be in the paper. :D :P

Checked all 4 health food stores of Townsville QLD. They all said they normally have it but during the past few months the manufacturer hasn't been able to deliver the orders. Do they boycott NQ for some reason or might it be the case elsewhere too?

Seems that need to find an online store or mail order company to get it from.

Hello I'm interested if you or anyone who is a vegan might be interested in going to Womadelaide on Sunday. I rang VenueTix and there are still plenty of tickets available. Hi Rene. A few of us are in Sydney.

There's the Vegan Gourmet restaurant(Newtown and St. Leonards). Pitt St. Vegetarian restaurant (near Town Hall station) also has plenty of vegan stuff (I think most of it is vegan). There's Purple Lotus (I think it's in China Town).
For specifically vegan shoes (as opposed to the standard non-leather ones in common shoe stores) there's Vegan Wares (based in Melbourne, but a shoe store in Waverly stocks them). They can also custom make shoes. www.veganwares.com

I just moved from newtown..well 6 months ago anyway! i love Newtown. I have been to Mother Chu's once..and that was 6 years ago! I can't even remember exactly where it is now!

Really! I love mother chu's - they have SUCH a huge menu; it's wonderful.

It's on Pitt street, really close to the greater union city cinema.

OMG i'm hungry now just thinking about it. :lick:
