WTF?

In a March 2000 interview she said she was vegetarian, and didn't mention fish. Maybe she changed since then.

Natural health and new vegetarian magazine? That thing is a piece of junk...... once the "natural health" crowd got their claws in it started advertising and having articles about fish and pills/supplements.

i never saw anything about fish so far but it's always full of self adverts for this damn health retreat ((even inside of articles)).

i get it sent to me cause of my membership with the qld veg society. but there is no way i would buy it.

damn fish eaters!

It used to have a few good new snippets and recipes in it, but it seems to be going downhill rapidly. I've noticed the whole "Hopewood" thing too. It's fast becoming one big ad for that retreat. I read it occasionally - my local library gets it in. Wouldn't pay for it though.. $7 bucks or so for a bunch of ads and two or three recipes seems exhorbitant.

As to the Annalise Braskinsaek thing, I read that article and I'm sure she said she was vegetarian. You reckon she was just flubbing or has changed?

Her web site (http://www.annalise.com.au) doesn't seem to say anything about it (there's no search function).

Okay, here's something (1 year ago):

http://www.mondo-organics.com.au/press/press_reviews.htm

"I try to eat good food - in fact I love food full stop. I was brought up a vegetarian, but I've recently started eating fish, so I call myself a pescatarian."

At Mondo, Annalise ordered a special main meal of plain grilled fish with salad.

i checked the site to see if there was an email address where we could email and ask her straight out, but i only found a post box address to send snail mail to.

No, but you did set him straight. :) :notvegan:

I didn't do the IQ test, I was out most of the night... the last one was flawed anyway so I wasn't too interested this time.

Anyone care to make a wager about how many ignore lists Kurmy is on after reading that thread? :D

Does anyone have any excellent sources (preferably non PETA or obvious vegan ones) about veal and the dairy industry in Australia? I'm going to go googling now but thought ya'll might have some must have links...

I do some work for a company that deals with these industries, so I'll snoop around (I once found some Dairy Industry internal publication about making "milk safe to drink by 2000").
