So am I..... are you calling me sad?
Because if you are, you are spot on.
I found "New vegetarianism and natural health" got annoying..... all the Ads in it for supplements and crap. And some articles on the benefits of foods like fish.

ACK!!! I wasn't here to defend my boring town! Canberra isn't that bad. The media just likes to make it look like its all about parliament house. But if you want to come here for a big veggie picnic or something, there are heaps of really great parks. And we have lots of good cafes, bars and restaraunts.
Unfortunately there are only two vegetarian restaraunts I know of. One is Kingsland's, which does fantastic vegetarian Chinese food, and the other is Bernadette's, which is a vegetarian cafe with very yummy food (especially their pizzas).

I also make my own spinach and tofu pastries, or sometimes a whole pie. I also use mushroom and onion in, and like to leave it open and put mashed potato on top, and then bake it. So delicious (it's based on a recipe I found somewhere; I modified it).
