Remember that I told you guys one girl had asked me about the difference between vegan and vegetarian and eating fish, etc.? Well she just said that she watched MYM!!!!!!

I am so happy I could do cartwheels!! She said that she is still not going vegetarian, but that she definitely has a lot to learn about how meat is produced, since she thought meat came from happy farms with grass and sunshine. It totally opened up the gate for me to drop a couple of lines about the issues. :D And I told her that I respect her 100% for watching it.

One of my best friends TOLD me about MYM and still eats meat!!

I know a guy who watched MYM and still eats meat -- he knows it's wrong to eat meat and although he has cut down quite a bit he isn't veg*n... yet.

I'm the opposite of that lol because I have never watched Meet Your Meat (I'm too scared to!) but I'm still a veggie! I probably will watch it one day even if I do disagree with a lot of the stuff that PETA put out...
Back on topic, that's great news! Though it still beats me how people can continue eating meat once they become aware of all that cruelty :(

It is a private board, with special access. It would be completely against our rules, but even if it wasn't I couldn't because not only would you hav e to be a registered member of the board, but you would have to be voted in and granted access to the private forum.

The thread is dead now...they have moved on to gardening and such. :lol:
