It will take place in the Images Theatre room, which is inbetween the north side of the Academic Quadrangle (AQ building) and Robert C. I like the olympics as an event but with the government cuttign social spendign across the board and the largest decifit in BC history, they can't be justified now. This could be done in a good way but I don't trust the government to do it.

Good point, triumvir.
Hi everyone. I just joined. I'm an Islander too, and love it! I live in Sidney (half an hour north of Victoria).

I am looking for two people to work at my organic vegetarian fast food restaurant,, Joe Veg, located in the food court at Harbour Centre in downtown Vancouver. (SFU campus) Must be creative and friendly with a good business sense as well. I've been at this for a year now and am getting a bit burned out, despite loving what I'm doing, so if anyone out there is looking for a business like this, I'd offer great terms for the right person. Call Alan at 604-689-9798 but between noon and two!
wow, that sounds like an awesome job!
i would love to be a vegetarian cook
too bad i live on the island though

I might be interested. I am looking for a job now as I just graduated from University last june). I have and interest and a good deal of experience with cooking. I'm very creative with cooking and am often creating new recipes and things like that.
I would like to know more about the job and the restaurant in general. My primary concern is that I am vegan and not particularly comfortable handling eggs and dairy.
