Here's a site I found that lists suppliers for various countries:

If you're a Starbucks fan, you may be interested in their organic shade-grown coffee. Here's a link to it in their online store:

What is the difference?

Well, shade grown means they didn't have to clear cut the ground the coffee grew in...rather it was grown under the canopy of trees. Meaning, it is the most environmentally friendly coffee you can buy.

Https://www.peacecoffee.com/ is my favorite, and they ship throughout the U.S. and Canada.

I buy organic shade-grown coffee beans from Trader Joe's, but I haven't seen any organic, shade-grown or fair-trade coffee on any coffeeplace menu yet. :(

I'd never heard of shade grown coffee. I only buy fair traide coffee. Can you get fair traide and shade grown?

Thanks for the info!

Oh the coffee place on campus (a branch of the one downtown) sells all organic fair-trade coffee and also vegan baked goods.

Oh I just went to the website, apparently the one downtown has a cafe with a vegetarian menu! I might have to go there once in a while.....
