That works out great for me, as I'm traveling to Miami/CR in May, so I'll need to drive up to Calgary anyway!

Hey guys... sorry for just going AWOL like that... I've been super busy and distracted by a lot of things lately and I sort of forgot all about this. But I still want to do this!

One small problem... I am leaving for Europe for a month during the second weekend in May, and I am out of town the first weekend in May.

How do people feel about the last weekend in April - the 26 or 27th?

I MIGHT be able to do that. I am finished finals on the 25th, so maybe I can go up that weekend to visit the fam.

Or you could all come up to edmonton and enjoy Padmanadi restaurant's Earth day (all-vegan and delicious) buffet that's this weekend :naughty:

These twp next weekends are ridiculous with work. I do have a bit of time on Sunday night, but Fri and sat all day I'll be at work :( Or... perhaps not at work till about 2:30 on Saturday, so lunch is a possibility???

I'm free Sunday evening as well (edit: later in the evening... I apparently agreed to join a football team that starts tomorrow). That would be my last chance to meet up until the middle of June.

I should be done work by about 7:30 or so on Sunday evening (I hope).

I like the Vegas idea, but I just spent 5 days there less than a week ago. My liver couldn't handle it :p

My personal vote if we are going for Sushi would either be Globefish (either in Kensington or Marda Loop), or perhaps Sushi Kawa on 4th st.

I love Sushi Kawa and I'm free pretty anytime on Sunday. Excited!

anyone ever been to The Coup?? how is it??

The Coup is one of my favorite places on earth.

It has a wonderful ambiance and the food is absolutely phenomenal.

Some of my favorites include: Baked Yam Wedges with Tahini Miso Gravy,
The Dragon Bowl, with Quinoa and Thai Coconut Green Curry and the Burger (which is made with cashews and tofu). All of their salads are fantastic, and so is everything else I have tried. Prices are very affordable and (almost) everything can be veganised.

I more than likely will be there. I have a car show (Volkswagens, if any one is interested, 11am - 3pm at 5th Avenue Auto Haus) that I organized, but after that I am good. :-)
