Yeah, I thiink so.
The Alliance for Animals Milwaukee (http://www.alliance4animals.org/index.htm) website has been updated!
I don't know if anyone here used the Natural Ovens bread, but just wanted to let you know that it's no longer vegan.
They've switched from D2 to D3.
I've now started baking my own bread.

Hello everyone. I live in Superior, WI but am originally from Spooner, WI.
SallyK, I think we've met before, at a Minneapolis Vegetarian Meetup back in Spring '05 in Galactic Pizza. My name is Travis Erickson, do you remember me?

My husband and I just spent a week in Madison and we spent another week there in 2004 and 2005 around the same time of the year.
There is a hawk that sits on a pole near a family fun park on road US 18 (it was called 18 and 12) on mile 258. Every single morning, this bird was sitting there the three times we were there. Who is this guy?!
We kept saying that people that drive by him every day to go to work must notice him too. Does anybody drive by that spot every morning and know what I'm talking about? We started calling him Willy, "Hey Willy, how's it goin'?", "Mornin' Willy Poo!". :p
I don't know about your hawk, but we have one that's been hanging around for a long time now!
Does your hawk look similar to ours?

Yea, he looks like that! We don't know if it's a he though. Does your hawk hang around your house? That's awesome!

I don't know whether ours is a he or she either.
He hangs around our house because we have bird feeders.
This picture I took last week after he had lunch in our backyard.

I assumed you had found that picture on a website about hawks! It's such a good picture, it looks like a professional took it!
I'll keep an eye on this thread in case someone knows my Willy! :)
The university in Green Bay is having a bow-and-arrow deer hunt on campus.
It starts tomorrow and ends April 30th.
You can read about it here (http://www.todaystmj4.com/_content/news/topstories/story_2230.asp).
I'm really upset about this.
I love deer so much!
I often go hiking and take pictures of deer. Like this beauty:

First they had D2 on their labels, then they changed it to D3 and now they just list it as D.
I called them and they said that they're using D3 now.
So I'm baking our own bread.
Which is probably better, since the natural ovens bread isn't even organic.
Well, I'm still not seeing "D" anywhere on the label or ingredients.

Am I missing something??
That is weird.
They either don't list it on their website, or they made a change again.
I'm going to call them tomorrow.

I'm going to call them tomorrow.
Please let me know what they say. I wrote to them, asking them to let me know what they're using, so I'll post their reply if I receive one. Thanks!
Here's the response I received-
Dear Nicole,
We use D3 and it is plant based.
Warm wishes
Lois Herman
Yes, we just called them.
Because of all the calls they've been getting, they've switched their D3 from animal to plant based.
However, we also asked them why vitamin D isn't listed on their website.
She said that they are currently looking for someone to do their vitamin/mineral mixture and until that time, they are not using any.
Welp.. I don't really have time to read all 30 pages of posts but.. I wanted to say that I'm from Madison. [=

Hello all! I'm not actually a Wisconsonian (Wisconsan? Wisconsoner?) yet - I'm moving in August, for grad school at UW-Madison. I'm so excited! :nana: I've heard the city is very veg*n friendly - is that accurate? I signed up for the Madison meetup.com group - anyone here in that?

It's actually Wisconsinite.
I didn't know there was a meetup for madison.. I thought there's a lot of people who say they'd join one if someone would pay the money to set one up. =P There's a tribe for one though, that I'm in. You can join it here: http://veganmeetup7.tribe.net/
