Welcome! And congratulations :) That's great you're going veggie so young. I wish I'd have had my parents' and friends' support when I was 16. How do your parents feel about it?

when do you turn 16? :-) Congrats on deciding to live a better lifestyle!! My husband and I celebrate our "veggi-versary" every year - we just decided one day to try it, went veg, and never looked back. It didn't coincide with any other special date, but it's plenty special to us!!! :-)
welcome!

well my mom dosent want me to go full until im 16 cause i need protean but they're pretty supportive about it i havent told most of my other family though
^ You can easily get all the protein you need as a vegetarian or vegan.
I highly recommend picking up the book "Becoming Vegetarian"!

What you should do is do a ton of research on this site and other sites and then tell your mom that you can get lots of protein without animal flesh. :deal:

you could use something like fitday (http://www.fitday.com/) to monitor how much protein you get to prove to your parents you can get enough without fish.

Welcome and congrats on your decision to ultimitely go veg!
By the way...
You are a very good child being willing to listen to your parents like that. My mom really dislikes me being a vegetarian and I don't listen when she tries to get me to eat meat. I just make my own meals and try to keep the burden off her. Tell her to come to sites such as this one where she can learn about how, when well planned, vegetarian diets can contain an adequate amount of protein, and actually be (much) more healthful than a standard american diet.
Good luck!
That's cool. I would wait until your 16 if that's the price of the support of your family, it'll go much better and easier with their support. And you can probably cut down even more on your portions between now and then, plus you have some time to figure out your new diet. Hope it all goes well.

Your family seems to support you and is only concerned about this not til 16 thing out of not knowing that you would be fine. Like someone else said, do research and show them, and from what you said they sound like they would let you and help and support you once they know all the facts. Which is a very good thing. People can and do raise children from infancy completely vegan, without protein issues. I know someone personally who is. Her daughter is a very smart little girl. Not to draw any parallel...
But welcome to vb and to veg-ism. Just give your parents time (and opportunities) to understand everything, and don't worry. And also, if they do let you go veg right away, you can still do it gradually if you feel that would help you. That is how I had to (as well as others).

I think you should go veggie now, I started when i was 11 and I never felt sick or anything. I know your parents are concerned for you, but you should prove to them that it is okay. Find out about different food you can eat. Itll show them that you are serious about this and that you are responsible at the same time. They seem to be being very resonable about this and im sure they will consider it.
