I'm from Utah, but don't live there right now. I sure do miss home though. The beautiful Wasatch and Uinta Mountains and beautiful red rock deserts....:sigh: I can't wait to go back and visit.

Whoah, I hadn't expected anyone from Utah on here! Quite a shocker. I'm from southern Utah. It sucks majorly. There isn't much here on veg*n. Been looking for weeks and can't find any books on it. Bah.
Anyone, great to see some people here. Not many though.^_^

I have no idea if there are any stores and whatnot around here for veg*m. Haven't look actually. But I've heard there's a pretty good Raw foods restaurant up in SLC.

I used to work for the third-largest record distributor in the United States. They were one of our accounts.

In the SLC area here. :)

In response to SamsonsMom's question
any suggestions where to find vegan restaurants or hangouts for vegans? You should check out Sage's Cafe (http://www.sagescafe.com/). Vertical Diner (http://www.verticaldiner.com/) is also very good.

Anyone from Utah still around?

I dont think anyone checks these local state forums... so ill post in a general section later too.

From March 23rd to March 27th my Girlfriend and I will be traveling out to Salt Lake city, UT. My aunt has a house out there and so im trying to squeeze in a little vacation/road trip before i get busy with work this season. We have a whole slew of veg places were going to stop at on the way there and while in Salt Lake City. Any other Veg people on here from there that would want to meet up?

A buddy of mine from NJ used to live there and may be going with us.
email me if youd like, chreha@hotmail.com

Now that each state has its own forum I'll be closing the state threads. Please continue any discussion by starting a new thread in this forum. Thanks!
