Well, right now people are super pissed about that band having a benefit concert for the victims. It seems fake.. after playing the blame game and all that.

Hi Rhode Island! I'm in CT, but on the other side.

I went to college with a kid from Rhode Island (East Greenwich) and we used to bust on him and jump from one foot to the other saying, "In Rhode Island, out of Rhode Island. In Rhode Island, out of Rhode Island". (Of course, CT is not much bigger... I don't know what I was thinking!)

Anyways, I love Rhode Island! Have been there a few times and it's very pretty.

Once we're through with this thread, Rhode Island will be the most popular state on VB!!!!

I grew up in both Saunderstown and North Kingstown, RI. My family lives there, so I visit often. I live in MA now. I moved here for college and never got around to moving back to RI! I figure that I'm close enough!:D I do miss the beaches, though!

I live in MA...but closer to RI than Boston (I'm in Taunton) so I'm in Providence all the time. I LOVE the Saver's in E. Prov... always some neet stuff to spend my little $$ on. I go to Thayer St. a lot too, but I always manage to get lost on my way home...damn you and all yur one-ways!!! =P

you're not the only one vicky :) i've lived in providence my whole life, though i'm in my last year of college in worcester, MA. the garden grille is very yummy, i go there with my sister and her boyfriend (who are both vegans as well) almost every time i come home from school. ive been meaning to go there for breakfast some day as i hear its wonderful, but i've yet to get the chance.

well, with any luck, after college i'll be going straight into a graduate school to study veterinary medicine. if that happens, theres no telling where im going to move to, but it wont be providence since theres no vet schools there. but if i dont manage to get accepted to any vet schools this year, i may move back to providence for a while and reapply to graduate schools again next year. i think i started to appreciate providence a lot more after being away from it so much (and certainly because of the fact that worcester is such a crap-hole of a city...heh) and ill definetly miss it when im not living there anymore.

hah! yes, i know/knew him. i went to school with him for many years...middle school as well. i was friends with him throughout middle school but we didnt speak all that much in high school, for no real reason i suppose. tell him Erin McElroy says hello...maybe he'll remember me :)
