...just thought i'd let my fellow rhode islanders know of a new, all-vegan restaurant that just opened in providence called Vegan Eden. the menu looks absolutely wonderful, though i've yet to go there yet (hopefully soon)...you can check it out here (http://veganeden.com/VE/) .

(if you read this ms. vicky, i tend to come home to providence on weekends...if you ever have an urge to meet up, this seems like a nice place to do so, so let me know :) )

hmm only how come a vegan place has shrimp ? .... and they name a lot of meat, i'm assuming those are the substitutes right ?

Hi, Rhode Islander here! Thought I'd give a post.. All those other states have so many. But none of them eat gravy with their pasta.

going to be in Providence next month.

Garden Grille is great. It's on the Borderline of Providence and Pawtucket.

As a matter of fact i'm going there with a friend on Wednsday to meet her veggie crew for dinner, so if anyone would like to meet me and some other veggies in the area please let me know !! it's this Wednsday at 6:30 ! looking forward to at least seeing someone ....

no problem. also if you are at Garden Grille take a ride (or walk) down Blackstone Blvd, it's pretty sweet. it will be across the street from the plaza you'll be on - you'll see it it's all green. and if you do that and stay on that street until the end (like 5 minutes, maybe more if the lights are red) you'll hit two health stores that are less than a block away from each other. East Side Marketplace and Whole Foods.

I love the beach, so I am hoping to get up early in the am and workout on the beach or walk it and have a coffee and also finish my nights off by the water.

narragansett beach is nice. take 95 south, exit 8 (there must be some kind of a sign) and stay on there for a while, at least 25 minutes. i'm not so good at giving percise directions, i reccomend looking up a map or just following everyone else, pretty easy to get to. it's about 40-45 minutes from providence without traffic. anything closer sucks. and there is this castle-looking place there, where the cafe/restaurant has some veggie options.
