I'm trying to remember the street. It's been a LOOOONG time. I think I heard it closed down but I am not sure.

It was just down the street from a Kips' Big Boy. :p

Oh yeah, you're really gonna have to help me out lol. I don't even know what a Kip's Big Boy is!

More or less like a Denny's but a bit more 1950's and Southern.

No problem. :)

For all I know, Kips' was torn down a long time ago.
My memory of MWC/Del City landmarks is not what it used to be. I remember where DCHS is and where Townsend Elementary is. I can find my old house and where my grandparents lived.

:p

That's what you get for never coming around here anymore lol! I really can't talk though because I know pretty much nothing about Norman. I know where the technology center is on Franklin because I've gone there so many times, but that's about it.

Give me a heads-up sometime if you are gonna be in Norman-town. I'll take you on the nickel tour. :)

Hey,I know there's far more to do there than here,so that sounds like fun!

Brandon

Was a beautiful day, for sure! I got out this afternoon and went up to campus to feed my fish in my office. I had the window down, music turned up and the sun felt so good on my face.

Do either of you two know Michelle or Don Ware from that neck of MWC from back in that time? They would be a bit older than you, but they lived there their whole growing up lives. Vickie Dr. just sounds so familiar.

Hi Mom :)

Nope I sure don't. I was only in Del City until I was 12 or so, so my whole world was my school and my parents and relatives.

Duh, Del City and MWC aren't the same, Mom. (She says to herself.)

I don't know them either. :(

Can we say Spring is here yet?

Shall we place bets on when the first time Gary England's on the TV, freaking out about severe weather?

Miss_Anthropic

Don't forget about Rick Mitchell lol. I'm not looking forward to all of the tornado watches, but I'm definitely ready for the warmer weather!

Brandon

Ah, yes. Can't forget ol' Rick.

Where the hell did the nice weather go!!??
It's sunny but brrrr! What's up with that wind.

Make it come back! Milk Shop! Help!

Miss_Anthropic
03-02-07, 06:14 PM
LMAO!! Aww,you know Milk Shop's here for you. Unfortunately,I can't do anything about the fickle weather. Let's wait a day or two and hope it gets warmer! :sunny:

Brandon

Now, now...I can tell you tried. It's a lot nicer than it was earlier.

And it's got "Milk Shop" written all over it. :D :D :D

When the weather turns really nice and it's wonderfully warm out, you'll know that's it all because of me. It's the least I can do for the Torch man lol.

Brandon

That, I can deal with. :D

Okay, the Milk Shop reference I don't get, but I'm glad to hear Gary England is still the man when it comes to the most reliable forecaster. He's the only weatherman I've ever truly trusted. (damn I sound like my Granny)

speaking of OK tele, do they still do the BC Clark's commercials at Xmas? "...so give the gift you know can't faiil, from BC Clark's Anniversary Sale!" I used to love those commercials! I tried to find them on YouTube, but had no luck...
