How long should dates be soaked for use in blended recipes such as raw puddings?
I just made raw chocolate pudding but the dates didn't blend very well (i.e. there was lots of chunks). I only soaked them for about 30 minutes. It still tasted good though:nana:

last recipe i used soaked dates in i soaked them for 30 mins. but i have a very strong blender. next time try an hour or blend them more. or cook thme in a saucepan over low heat until most of liquid is gone.

... but then it wouldn't raw, right?
I don't think you should soak dates....
they might leave mad and not call again....
Just kidding!

I suggest splitting them and removing the pit before you soak them. The time frame you soaked them in should be suffice. A Vita-Mix really comes in handy in these situations.
