i'm just curious about the "adults only"--why?

That time limit for completing a poll is irksome for sure, and you're not the first it's bitten.

One trick I learned is to write down or type all the poll questions in word processing first so I can figure out exactly how I want the questions worded, and then I can quickly type them up at the appropriate moment.

Another trick I learned is to make all my polls open-ended, meaning they don't close, so users who find them months later can vote if they want. It looks like this one will close pretty soon.* You can do that by entering 0 when prompted for the close date.

Also, making it public makes some users nervous.

*oops, sorry, I just noticed the date. It will close in a year. :o
