there is two i beleive...i've only been to the one in parsippany, and that's in a strip mall.
i'm going to be paranoid everytime i go into Colony Mkt now
Ok, this one was definitley NOT in a strip mall. It was about 10 minutes from the festival. You should go there for dinner next weekend! :lick:

Pinkerton, I want to let you know i am going to Colony market on thursday. I'm the girl with the big tattoo on her left shoulder.
Noo, our trip to the pirate festival has been cancelled due to predictions of heavy rain and thunder tomorrow
Oh well, it was kind of a shlep anyway.
My parents and I went to Veggie Heaven in Parsippany tonight and it was well worth the drive. We shared the scallion pancakes (yum), General Tso's chicken (the best dish we ordered), Ting Ting Two Flavor (also delicious), and the Sauteed Artichokes with Chicken (a little on the salty side but not bad). The best part: there are enough leftovers for tomorrow :D

Did you do the pirate thing over the weekend? The weather was horrible down by us (LBI), I assume it was bad up there too.
Anyway, about your pic... I think it's a girl, in her underwear, on her belly, wearing rollerskates, with her knees bent so that the wheels are by her butt (not boobs). Am I right?

The lottery, horse racing and road construction projects were among the first services to close, while parks, beaches, historic sites and possibly casinos may close in the coming days.

It's strange, I've had zero bad MV experiences until my last one, a few months ago. The "six points of identification" process is quite grueling. Maybe I've just been fortunate. Now I'm glad they're closed :) Casinos are open til Wednesday. Wild.

they have to keep the beaches/casinos open through wednesday. it brings in to much revenue on holiday weekends

Does this mean the beaches will be free?! I wonder...
(They should be free for residents anyway, so I would just be taking what's already mine, right?)

i always thought the beaches should be free for year round residents but I guess a lot of Bennys own houses, so technically that makes them year round residents.
shaking down Bennys for their cash is practically mandatory. we charge them $20 a day to use the gym. tee hee!

anarchy. woo hoo!
I was cleaning 'round the place here and somehow it happened that I was singing the Sex Pistols' 'Anarchy for the UK' and replacing 'UK' with 'NJ'... But I don't recommend this.

I have to think about this more before recommending or endorsing anarchy. I'm still warming up my brain this morning...

I grew up in Sea Girt and there was a huge bump in the road we called "the Benny Bump' right in front of my house. When we were little, my sister and I used to sit out in the yard and watch all the bennies fly over the bump and 7 out of 10 time I would say, they would lose a hubcap when they landed. We had a HUGE collection of hubcaps in our garage. Most of them never noticed or pulled over, but if they did, we didn't take the hubcap of course. It was good summer fun!:sunny: (See, you can even get your hubcaps stolen in rich towns! ) When I was an older teen, we used to get free beer and "stuff" from the college kids who rented on Manasquan beach. They thought they were so cool hanging out with "local girls", suckers! :dunce:
