Howdy, KC here. Independence really, but more people seem to know where Kansas City is. Anyone still alive here from KC?

I'm moving to Columbia pretty soon. Going to school there in the fall. Does anyone know if the city is veg friendly, etc.?
I'd love to meet veg*ans down there!

I'm going to be visiting St. Louis this weekend to meet my BF's mom. I don't know if we'll have a chance to go out much, but in case we get the opportunity, is there anything veg-wise that I just can't miss?
I wish I could meet AngelOfDance and give her a great big hug for being such a sweetie.
Ah well. ^^;;

I wouldn't say there is anything you can't miss. Any area in particular you are looking for places to eat? I just moved back here and am still re-building my city knowledge. I can lead you to a Whole Foods Market and a few restaurants, but thats about the extent of it :-/

oh! :o
There's a place called Chris's pancake house or something like that that has pretty decent veggie wraps...
I've never been to an actual vegetarian restaurant before, though, so I'm not much help.

Thought I'd post this in some of the surrounding states in case anyone was interested. Some of us are meeting in Chicago for dinner and mayhem on Friday November 19th.

Nope, no one has started a thread. Jen is keeping it all to PM's. She said something about not wanting "a certain person" to find out about it. :confused:
