Dear friends,
This morning, NJ101.5 ran their story on the AP-PAC's exposing of a brutal pheasant shoot that was sponsored by the United bowhunters of NJ. The announcer first described what was seen on the video, then played audio from it, where you hear the hunters laughing and congratulating themselves for slaughtering a small bird with an arrow. They gave out our website - http://www.protectnjanimals.com/ - where we have posted the videos, and we can assume that by now thousands more people have witnessed the vile actions of the UBNJ hunters.
The UBNJ is now saying that the birds were not drugged and that they didn't kick them, although this is obvious on the video. They are saying that what they did is standard practice, which probably wasn't a very smart thing for them to say as it therefore condemns all hunting and makes our job even easier. No matter how they try to wriggle out from this, they are forthrightly condemned by their own video; no one is going to be fooled when they see what these thugs have done.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP:
1. Contact Governor John Corzine and ask that all live bird shoots be banned and a severe penalty be given to those who break the law. Also please tell him that in no way should the Division of Fish and Wildlife be given $4,000,000 of our tax money in the new budget, as this money subsidizes hunters like those who took part in this filthy killing.
