Kabob Palace - better Middle Eastern
Seva - overpriced, weakened version of Red Bamboo in NYC
Blue Nile - expensive-but-worth-it Ethiopian
Red Hawk - a bar w/ good veggie options overall
Red Hot Lovers - Chicago-style hotdog joint w/ amazingly great tempeh burger and tofu dogs

That's what we're deciding. If people don't want to do it, Strawberry, Marie, and I probably can be counted on to commit to a meetup. They, because they have before. Me, because I am just cool like that. :p

If more people want to meet up, though, we should do it somewhere central. Or just somewhere way far away for everyone equally. :p

Okay so I was really quite curious and I looked through our entire address book... I officially have NO family in Houghton Lake, nor any family friends. Maybe it just seems so familiar because I've passed by it a lot on the way to my dad's house or something??? I dunno, he lived in Gaylord...

Gaylord's about 1 hour north of HL, that could be it.

75 and sunny... wonderful weather today, at least here in Grand Rapids...

I spent the past two days driving around (I had to make rounds of all the GR Public High Schools to distribute some flyers, plus major errands to do.) Both days I was wearing tops that didn't cover my shoulders- and I got a sunburn on my left shoulder only. From sitting in the car, hee hee.
