Plus, there's the easiest Trader Joe's to get to via public transportation. :) (but maybe that's important only to me, lol)

Anyhow, I got a job in NIMH and will relocated to Bethesda in July (from Hawaii, lol).....Hmmm...I guess I am just being nervous about it and don't even know what to ask, heh
Hey,
I work for NIH/NIDCD. You are going to be working in building 10 right? PM me if you want to meet up at one point. I will be glad to show you around, once you are here!
Good luck with the moving. NIMH has some really nice people there ... I hope you enjoy working there :-)

Yes, don't worry. Downtown Bethesda has a lot going on, and you have very easy access to all that DC has to offer. This really is a great area in which to live; you just won't be waking up to palm trees each morning.

trelirodia and DCveg, you guys are the sweetest! Actually, seeing the same tropical stuff can get old! When I went to DC last November, me and my friends were sniffing the crisp cool air like bunch of silly puppies under the watchful eyes of Lincon, heheh... really, cool air is a treat for us! BTW, I grew up in Beijing which is COLD in the winter, so I guess I will just have to re-adjust to "seasons" (as opposed to Sunny-365). =)

Local Maryland Wine is Vegan and Very Tasty
Hello everyone. I just wanted to let you know that I went to the Wine in the Woods festival on May 20th. Of course I wrote every winemaker prior to the event and asked the all pertinent questions. Do you use ........?
I received about 7 responses from the 15 vineyards. Only 3 were vegan. We tried all 3, but only one really stuck out.
Cygnus Wine!!! (http://www.cygnuswinecellars.com)If you are interested in a vegan wine here in Maryland try Cygnus. They do not fine at all. The only thing used in their wine is grapes or fruit and yeast.
The best one was their Port of Manchester.

Hello everybody. I'm new to vegetarianism, and kind of new to Anne Arundel County (been here for about 10 months). Just wanted to say hi, and see what's up with all the Marylanders. :nana:

Just in the home, or does he bottle and sell it?

I just signed the petition. I never bought eggs from them, but I used to buy vegan products at the Sterling store. I added in the petition that I would be boycotting their store until their cruelty ended.

Awww, SeaSiren, I LOOOOOVE Ocean City! I would live there if I could. We go quite often, but only in the off season....I don't do well with crowds. I just love being near the ocean and I love the kitchiness of OC.
BTW....I live in Hagerstown.

I work in Camp Springs now. I'm searching for a condo out that way, but first I have to sell my house in Charles Town (WV).
Anyway, I take the train from Shady Grove to Branch Ave round-trip. If anyone wanted to get together for dinner in Rockville or Gaithersburg, let me know. It would be around 7 pm during the week.
