Nope, not yet. I hear Whole Foods is going to be even better than Wild Oats though. :)

Depending on where you are in Tolland County, you might not be too far from the Willimantic Food Coop (http://www.willimanticfood.coop/).

I pass through there sometimes and they have a pretty good Big Y. They carry alot of veg products that most other mainstream grocey stores dont.

Hello fellow CTers! I'm from Stamford. I was wondering if anyone else is from Fairfield County as well? What are your favorite places to eat?

I enjoy The Drawing Room (tea room in Cos Cob), Capriccio (Italian restaurant in Stamford), and Kit's Thai Kitchen (Stamford).

Definitely do. Everything is home-made. Perfect when you want a real meal but don't want to cook.

Has anyone here ever been to Sesame Seed in Danbury? Their vegetarian platter is awesome. Best hummus+tabouli+falafel I've ever had.

I was wondering what thoughts are about the Lime Restaurant in Norwalk which has won The Advocate's Best Vegetarian Restaurant from 1999-2008... I went to look at their menu and it is full of chicken, steak and seafood, etc. How can a restaurant like that win a veggie award? Is it me or is there something wrong with that? Did they win by default because of lack of competition? I even called them to make sure I was reading their menu correctly. What gives? I was going to make it a point to go there but I worry about separation of grills, etc.
