Does anyone have a good almond butter recipe? Thanks in advance
I just made almond butter last night and all you do is take about 1 cup (or more if you want) of almonds and some salt if you desire, and you grind them in the food processer for about 10 minutes until it turns into a paste.
Very simple and quick! And it's delicious!

It helps to do a 5 minute quick soak and then strain them and then blend them.

So yummie and a good quick snack for on the go people!
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup almond butter
honey
Mix te sunflower seeds until fine. Then add the almond butter, honey and make some balls. I made mine into little hearts and squares because my boyfriend commented on the balls :)
How long do homeade butters "keep" if put in an airtight container in the fridge.
In my book it says 3 months. I finished mine in 3 days....I love almond butter!
