Yeah, I was thinking this week. But if other people can't make it, I'm pretty free whenever. Week nights are better for me. There always seems to be too much other stuff going on during the weekends. I know Eric said he can make it next Wednesday the 6th. I can make it then too. So would that work for everyone else, and by everyone else, it looks like Amy SF and ProudVegan. :)

If weekends are better, I can do Saturday at 7:30 instead. Is there anyone that could make Wed/Thu that can't do Saturday instead?

My wife and I can make it this saturday.

Here's my idea. I'm going to put a peg in Thursday night. My wife and I will be at Rahel's at approximately 7:30pm. If you can make it, awesome. If not, there's no reason why we can't do another one somewhere else soon after, or on a weekend later on.

Not all of us are going to be able to go to every thing, but I think we as a group of compassionate mostly-Angelenos need to do a better job of just keeping the ball rolling. I like the idea of each one of us turning one of our occasional nights out into an open invitation to the rest of the group, rather than trying to get everyone to agree on locations, times, and dates.

It's too bad you weren't able to make it. It was nice meeting Eric and his wife, and the food was really good. I think I still like Messob next door a little better, but Rahel's was pretty close. My puppies have enjoyed the leftovers for dinner and breakfast this morning.

We have tentatively planned for another veg-up soon at "Veggie Life" in South El Monte, between the 60 and the 10 on Rosemead. They have fantastic vegan Vietnamese food. Here's the Veg Guide review:

My short film is playing at a festival in Oxnard on Friday the 15th, so that's a bad night for me. What about Sunday evening (the 17th)? Traffic's bound to be better on a Sunday night anyway, yes?
