Banana, lemon and honey shake
Category: Beverages/Smoothies
Suitable for a: vegetarian diet
Ingredients:
------------------------------------------------------
4 ripe bananas
juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons runny Honey
5 oz (150g) yogurt (normal or soy)
5 fl oz (150ml) milk (normal or soy)
Instructions:
------------------------------------------------------
Peel the bananas and cut them in to smallish peices, then put them in the blender with the lemon juice and honey. Start the motor and whilst it is running, add the yogurt and then the milk. This makes a very thick shake, so you could add more milk if you wanted to.
Serves four. Serve in glass with some banana chips or sprinkles if ya feel naughty!
Additional comments:
------------------------------------------------------
You could fiddle around with the type of yogurt - flavoured works as well as plain to make you own signiture shake!
Also, try adding oats or wheat bran to the mix whilst blending, to increase fibre content and make a really good breakfast... Enjoy!
