I am just really excited about this and I need to share it with someone. I've needed new shoes for the longest time. My old Converse All Stars I bought oh maybe 7 years ago? They were once dark green but I spraypainted them hot pink and the paint flaked off a lot and the soles were completely smooth and the toes were mostly torn off and holey and were covered in duct tape.
But I kept going to the store and feeling guilty about spending $50 on some shoes when there is so much waste in the world.
Then again, I never could bring myself to buy any shoes I found on craigslist or Ebay or the thrift store. I didn't like them enough or they weren't the right size, etc.
Until today! I passed by a garage sale and stopped on a whim...and found a gorgeous pair of expensive Converse All Stars, black with brown soles, toe lugs, and trim. For TWO dollars!! And they were exactly my size!
I have a wonderful life. And really cool shoes. :)
