I've recently been hired to work for the Coastal K-9 Bakery because my boss, Jackie has signed a contract with Whole Foods Market to carry her doggy treats. They should be in the Whole Foods inventory within 2 weeks, but currently only the NC whole foods have promsed to carry them. We need people in other parts of the country to request "Tippy's Treats" when shopping at whole foods so hopefully we can get more orders. They are hand-made all natural doggy treats with a focus on organic ingredients. We're working on a vegan doggy "power bar" recipe right now, and currently there are several vegetarian flavors.

http://www.coastalk9bakery.com/index.asp is the website if you're interested. It's a wonderful business and Jackie is very commited to helping animals, she fosters cats out of her store, and has raised over $5000 to help build a local dog park. She has also been kind enough to let me bring the kittens (www.pirategeek.com/kittens) I'm bottle feeding right now to work with me when I've been unable to find a sitter.

Sounds like an awesome job. Jackie sounds like a very compassionate person. I wish I could even meet people like that around here! That jobs definitly a keeper! I'll definitly make sure to mention Tippy's Treats.

I don't have a dog. :(

But my sister does, so maybe I can get her to ask for them. Or I can ask for them as a surprise for my sister's dog.

I've never actually requested something at a store before...what should I do? Just call the manager and say, "Hey, there's this brand from North Carolina I really love called Tippy Treats...do you think you could carry them?"
