This film has been a long time in the making from what I understand. I watched the trailer clip and it looks to be a very promising insight. For those who oppose the ALF( Animal Liberation Front), this movie should explain why these people risk everything to save animals from such hellish situations. As sad as it is to see what these animals were taken away from it is exciting to watch them get rescued and know they will never be subjected to scum scientist and the like ever again!!!

---------------------------------------
“Behind the Mask”
Be among the first to experience this unique look inside the underground world of the Animal Liberation Front.

This movie has already received great reviews! It is a cutting edge exploration of animal issues and freedom of speech in this post 9/11 world, and dovetails with the latest controversies in the news regarding domestic surveillance.
Filmmakers will be available for interviews at the screening. The director, an attorney, has a personal story about government surveillance that would make an excellent news piece.

8556 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
Time: 7pm
Complimentary parking available at the Flynt Building (Corner of Wilshire and LaCienega)

Wow. Just the trailer made me tear up.

I can't wait to see this movie, but I'll have to go alone. No way my boyfriend will agree to go to this, he gets too upset. No tearing up in public :notvegan:

BRILLIANT movie!!! Played to a full house and I think almost everyone walked out of there with a copy of the DVD. I bought a few and want to donate one to my library and hope they make it available.

It was an interesting slant to the animal rights film. Less of a gore-fest (like Earthlings) and a lot more focused on civil liberties. I would highly suggest picking up the DVD.

Does anyone know what region the dvd is? I'm in the UK so i need region 2 or 0 to play it - i'm too poor to have a region-free player, and it mine can't be unlocked

I sent an e-mail to the website and got the helpful answer 'not sure what a region is'. Hopefully that means they haven't locked it for american and canadian dvd players only and i can get a copy
