Wheat Grass

:help: Hi, everyone I'm new so bear with me.I'm probably in the wrong place.I would like to grow wheat grass.Does anyone in the group grow it. Do you have to juice it or can you dry it and grind it. Thanks for any help!!!:help:

I've grown it before and always juiced it, or gave it to my sisters cats who absolutely love it. I've never heard of drying it to use it. I grew wheat grass for all the enzymes/nutrients in it's juice, a lot of which are destroyed if you don't drink the juice right away. I presume the same thing would happen if you dry it, but I'm not certain. I'm pretty certain humans cannot digest the grass itself which is why we have to juice it. i grow it and juice it. i havent ever heard of drying it either. and you do need to drink it shortly after juicing it. but you need to make sure you get a juicer that specifically says it can juice grass. wheatgrasskits.com has a lot of info and a great juicer. good luck and get juicin'!:hamster:
