i love...that feeling, when you push yourself. i love it. and your whole body's warm and limber and literally pumping. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. this didn't really deserve a thread but i came home from running and tried to offload the joy onto a housemate and she, in her pjs still watching tv, just didn't get it.
thought maybe this thread might
its wonderful. go the natural high. nothing beats it.
get the right music blasting into your ears and just go nuts.

I also love the exhausted, contented, relaxed but energized feeling after a really great workout!
I think this totally deserves it's own thread! Way to go!

I just ran and I am feeling it.:D
I felt it earlier when I was dancing in my apartment. :) And I love the after-workout sweat, of course. Good idea for a thread, I second the thumbs up!

Absolutely! I went for the nicest run today - went about 10 minutes longer than normal and I felt fantastic! I love that post-workout feeling - it makes it all worthwhile. Glowy and proud. FANTASTIC.

I have to yell at myself for a moment. I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7:30 this morning. Why did I not run. It was the devil on my shoulders saying do it later. And later never came. Bad me. :junk: I knew I would regret it.
No happy sweaty feeling for me today.

I wish I could wake up like that at 7:30 in the morning! Go for a run today. :) or tomorrow, or the next..
I love to sweat. I do hot yoga in a room heated past 100 just so we can sweat.
I used to run in the Florida heat all the time in the afternoon, the hotter the better, (not recommended for non-natives) just so I could sweat. (My knees are bad now and can't).
:)
I don't need sweat in order to feel as if I've gotten a good workout. I love going on a bike ride and riding hard but not getting sweaty because the air temp and the evaporation of riding keeps me dry.
When I climb, sweating isn't a good thing because it makes you slippery. Luckily my hands don't sweat much, so I don't have to use chalk. However when I'm warming up for climbing in they gym on the exercycle and the stairmaster, I get more drenched than I'd like to be.

I am sooooo glad someone agrees with me!!! I am usually alone in my excitement about exercise. I have started a home weight training program a few weeks ago, and every time I lift, even if I do it in front of my TV, which the REAL fitness people object to (and rightfully so, I agree.....), I feel wonderful, like my body is finally there.
So when no one feels your joy, do come here, I feel it too, and love to read about it. It inspires me! Thanks!

  Was a good sweat day. I swear I did not want to workout today, but I drug myself off the couch. I am so glad. I have always been a big sweater person when I work out and it feels just so lovely.
It's okay if I took two showers today. :p

I love sweat too :)
Today was a great sweat day, and I have high hopes for tomorrow. It's hard to sweat in New Mexico, everything evaporates!

:D ;)
Today was definitely a good sweat day! I ran about 2 miles, and washed/waxed the hooptie, sweating all the while.

Another good sweat day...but seriously, who builds a gym and doesn't put in a fan? This hotel is killing me!
I like this thread. It's kinda cool AND gross at the same time:think:
I have a funny story - I happen to sweat alot in training too - and now I actually get crystals of salt form on my face:think: how weird!
Does anyone else get that or just me being a freak? :help: Just for the record I don't eat too much salt...

like the work out feeling.
dislike just how much I sweat (a lot).
It's really quite gross.

I've been lurking here, mainly because I hate to sweat! I'm hoping to gain some inspiration. I know it's a good thing!

Well, I'm sweating now, but it's because it's 87 degrees and I don't want to turn on the A/C yet. I guess that doesn't count.
