these are really good, and i have tried many a veg hot dog.......i dont know if any of you read my other post about my 6 yo and hot dogs? well she scarfed these down, they pass the edible test,
they are very tasty! i cant wait to try one on the grill!:chef:

Cool! I've seen those I think... if I recall they used to have egg-whites?
(Which is fine, lots of veggie hot dogs do - I'd love to try them if they're vegan though, I haven't found any yet that I'm totally crazy about.)

They do have egg white powder, i just looked at the package.
we are not totally vegan here, milk is gone, but we cant seem to get rid of eggs and cheese......but i am working on it.
on a side note, my hubby ( who is mostly still omni) HATED these, he took one bite, almost gagged and gave it to the dogs........LOL
but i still think they are good, and if the kids will eat it when they clamor for a hot dog im happy with it.....hehehe

Oh yeah, I'm not thinking there's a problem with them for you, vegan or not - if your kids like them, go for it!!

Don't sweat the whole "vegan" thing if you're not ready or not interested or whatever, there's plenty of vegetarians here and they're equally important to this board... you're still doing a GREAT job and that's what's important!
