Just got a call from my mother, someone at her work is moving and is looking to get rid of their cat because the new place doesn't allow pets. I gave them Harmony House (http://www.hhforcats.org/)'s phone number because they are no kill. The cat's only 1 year old so it should have a decent chance if it's taken in. This pisses me off. I would do almost anything to get my deceased dog back and here this person isn't even trying to find a different apartment because "the cat peed in my laundry basket". How can they treat their family that way?
Anyways, if someone is willing to take a 1 year old cat (sorry, I don't know anymore info @ this time) in the Chicagoland area let me know. I'll post more info about the cat as I get it.
