Hey Everyone!

I am putting together a petition to protest the treatment of chickens at KFC facotries-- I will be sending this to the CEO of their mother company, David Novak, CEO of Yum! Brands Inc. You are probably sick of petitions, but it would mean a lot to me and those 800 million chickens who suffer at their cruel hands every year.

Hey... are petitions just passe'? Frowned upon? Did I make people mad/uncomfortable by posting this? I'm sorry if that is the case. I was hoping to get a big list together to mail to this guy (whose company I find indispicable), but I'm not really experienced in this form of grassroots effort. If it's frowned upon, I truly apologize. I didn't know! If you have any ideas of how I can change my petition's content, implementation, etc, I would love to hear it. In addition, if there are suggestions for other forms of activism other than leafletting on this level, I am trying to learn.
