Is anybody watching this? Its on this week at 10pm on the USA network. I thought I remembered somebody on VegWeb saying there was a vegan team on it this year. Do you know which team it is? For all you survivor fans, Ethan from Survivor Africa and Jenna from the orgianl show are on a team this year.

Eco-challenge is awsome. I can't imagine particpating in a race like that.

Yeah, i shared this in another thread. But I met someone that participated in it twice. He said he ate 15,000 calories a day, and still lost 15-20 lbs during the race...

That's hardcore.. It would be cool to do that. But I think I'd end up being an absolute mess... Maybe someday...

And I must watch it. It's cool stuff.

Yes, me too I remember someone saying that about there being a vegan team, because no doubt I saw the same thread you're refering to, back at old VegWeb!

Thanks for bringing it back to our attention CaptainSwab!!!!...and I look forward to hearing more on how the show goes!!!!! :D

I think Eco-Challenge is the "real" reality TV show that's even remotely worth watching. It makes Survivor look like a picnic at the beach and certainly shows the TeamWork necessary to win.

Did anyone see the one a couple of years ago where two members each from a US team and UK team had to retire and so the remaining two members from each group joined together to form their own team? The called it USUK (pronounced "you suck"). No kidding, they really did that.

Robert, I have to agree with you that this show makes Survivior look like a picnic. When survivor started, I was a little dissapointed at what it actually was. I had imagined it to be more about surviving in the wilderness and less like it actually is. Nonetheless, I watch it anyways but its hard to hear their complaining after watching eco-challenge. I love watching this show and seeing their challenges. Its hard to beleive that the race is 6(is it 6?) DAYS long. Talk about pushing your boundaries.

I liked to watch eco-challenge, but nobody else in my house did so I missed a lot of it. I was really quite surprised with Hayden Christiansen popping up there. It was weird to hear myself say "Wow, I'd like to do that one day..." and then realise "What the heck am I saying??"

You know, I was really dissapointed with the coverage this year. They only had 4 episodes and it seemed like they went from day 3 to 6 in 20 mins. I liked it on the outdoor network better.....
