Or both?

I became vegetarian because of animals but through living this lifestyle over the years I have become very interested in healthy eating and now I think I am on the road to being vegan for both my health and the animals. And what a journey it is; I wouldn't have missed this ride for anything!

For the animals. I didnt even consider my health in the beginning. I would have became vegetarian even if vegetarian diets made you gain weight. I love my animals

None of the above but that is not to say I do not care about all.

I just was never all that much into meat, course I'm not all that much into fruit either

This should be a poll!

I went veggie for the animals. But now I really enjoy the health aspect of it.

Super!

Started out for the animals. Then, as I read more and learned more it was for my health and the environment, as well.

I don't care about my health as I'm healthy enough
Animals are lower then a human being. It is evolution for a pattern of strong domination over weak ones.

Therefor, let me tell you something important.

I LOVE VEGETEBLE! IT TASTE GOOD! I DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE.

Neither, although I do care about my health and take care of myself, and am concerned about animal abuse.

I'm a vegetarian cause meat squicks me out - the way it looks, tastes, all the scary diseases you can catch from it ...

When I decided to go veg it was for health reasons, but the animals and the environment were a real close second.

Does it matter ? Any reason is a good reason to be veggie !

(I like all of the reasons to be vegetarian and am comfortable with it. It's a lifestyle which reflects my personality, and vice versa.)

I became vegetarian for health reasons and because I oppose factory farming.

In the first place, I *mainly* went vegetarian for health reasons. The animal reasons were in the back of my mind, but they were not at the top of the list.

However, as I was vegetarian for a few months, I started to see the true horror of just how bad it really is for the animals. I eventually went vegan (last month) and now I would say that if I had to pick one of the two, animals would be the bigger of the two reasons. Health reasons is definitely a major one too...they both are!

Health first and foremost.

The fact that I'm helping to save animals is just extra [veg] gravy to me. :bobo:

How about nether?.

Why does a herbivore need a reason to follow their own natural instincts?..other vegetarian animals surely don't.

Do you really think an antelope herd sits down to discuss being vegetarians and then decide while it's more ethical or better for the enviroment?.

Health, food preference (I actually don't like the taste of most meat), enviroment, animals.
