My partner and I have been together for a year now and lived together since August. He decided to go "vegan at home" when he moved into my house as I was used to a vegan fridge and do all the cooking. Anyway... although he occasionally eats meat out or at work, he hasnt eaten a large amount (especially red meat) for a long time. Point of the story... over Easter my dad decided to give Ben a HUGE (dinner plate sized, 2 inches thick) piece of rare beef. Ben devoured the lot, he still loves his meat. Suffice to say, he was sick for a week.
Even though meat now makes him sick, he still has no reservations about being an "at home vegan". Gotta love him :smitten:

Even though meat now makes him sick, he still has no reservations about being an "at home vegan". Gotta love him :smitten: It seems that he would want to be vegan as much as possible since eating animals make him sick, right? Either way, YAY for you and YAY for him for eating vegan at home! Good job! :D

Cool! (not that he got sick, but, you know).

Maybe this will inspire him to choose veg options outside of the home too!

Its fun to like vegebles.
I don't mind if people like to eat meat. As for me i just like vegetebls the best and some people like meat the best.

I'm moving in with my boyfriend this weekend, and while we won't be keeping a vegetarian kitchen, he's agreed to eat vegetarian meals at home as long as I cook them because he'd rather eat home cooked vegetarian food than things like frozen pepperoni pizza. (Of course, when I'm not cooking, he'll still be eating that crap, but at least he won't ever ask me to cook meat for him!)

I have a set-up similar to what rabid_child described, and last week my b/f and I went out to eat mexican. Through some sort of mix up he ended up with all beef dishes (he had ordered some beef, but also beans, etc.), essentially a plate of ground beef with a small amount of sauce, cheese, and various wrappings. Since we were going to a play he just ate it, and all that beef ruined his stomach for days. He was talking about how horrible it was to eat that much meat at once for quite some time.
