In my graduating year at high school I was in a Media Arts class, of course all of my work was done with an animal rights theme to it. :)
One video I did was about twenty minutes long and it was themed around a slaughterhouse. I did a documentary of one cow (her name was Lulubell..tee hee) and her 'journey' to the slaughter house. It took me 6 months to produce obviously because I needed to get the footage of her 'growing up'. It was so horrible to watch her go into that freakin' death house.
Anyway I tried to get the cable station to play it but they wouldn't because it was to 'graphic'. Now I have a bunch of videos (produced by animal rights organizations and also my own) and I would like to get them aired. Has anyone ever been successful with this (airing video), or have any tips they can spare?
Thanks!
