I want to make sure I'm getting my omega 3 every day, is flax oil a good/the best source or is hemp oil better?

Also do you have any ideas what to do with either flax or hemp oil to take it? The only think I can think of is in salad dressings, but I don't have salad every day so just that won't guarantee I have it.

Thanks

One of the most omega-rich foods I have found are hemp seeds. I tend to sprinkle them in things, on things, (like museli or porridge), mix them with things (like beans or soup). They give things a rather nutty taste that I quite like. You could also include them in cereal style bar recipies or smoothies. It recommends between 2-4 tablespoons per day.

Hope that helps!:hamster:

I perfer flax seeds, I grind them up and add them to any breads ,muffins or cookies I make.
They are also great added when your making granola at home:yes:
More or less though I find it easy to add to most foods I eat, hemp I'm sure is great but not real avalible to me.
I can not stand the oils of either makes me want to heave, not the taste the taste is not all that bad but the texture certainly is.

edited to say that you really do need to grind the seeds up to get the benifit, flax seeds and I do not know about hemp seeds but flax will pass through you undigested if they are not ground.
