I wrote the nicknames I gave to my cats in my journal back in 2000, when they were 2 years old. Bear in mind that this was 6 years ago, so the list has expanded a teeny bit.

Sweetiepie
Sweetpea
My little princess
My little lioness
Sabriniepie
Sabby
My little girl

Misty

I also referred to them at one time as The Trouble Twins, although Sabrina has gotten into more trouble than Misty. Also, when I pick up a cat and she doesn't want to be held, I call the cat my little squiggleworm, or wiggleworm, or wigglesquirm.

Yes! Felix (who you'll now find in my avatar wearing his Halloween costume) has a few of them:
Funk Masta
Funk Masta Flex (these two are kind of a joke. I gave him these to make him seem 'bad-a**'. He's totally not bad-a**. Definetly one of the most easy-going, sweetest cats I've ever known. He's a total baby.)
Pookie
Pookster
Falicia (My friends from high school used to call him this because they thought he was too nice to be male)
Mr. Rodriguez (looooong story)

My major nicknames for my cats are not very imaginative--

The White One
The Grey One
The Black One

Sometimes even that breaks down, and whichever one is absent becomes The Other One. It works out. They always seem to know who I'm talking about.

We call Rascal Tubalub. I called him tub of love a lot (because he's so big) and my kids started pronouncing it 'tubalub' instead so it stuck.
Houdini is Nini or Nin (pronounced neen) for short, another kid creation
Vincent is usually some variation of the name (Vinnie, Vin Vin) but I also call him goofball a lot. he's clumsy and goofy so it seems to fit. Andrew still calls him 'spotty dog' I'm not sure why. lol

One of my pooches' nicknames is "Longdogfrog". That's short for "Long dog frog was a very long dog, and a very long dog was she"

I have lots of boring and soppy nicknames for all my pets, the funny nickname is what my Dad calls all pets - Chook. He reckons that it's easier than remebering so many names. One time he called me chook - I asked him if he'd forgotton my name.

I call Jaxy evil deamon bitch cat
You would just have to know her she is the meanest cat on earth, no one is kidding when they say do not feel bad she hates everyone but me.
She had a rough go of it though you cant hold it against her

Cici I call her stubby tail lard bottum, She is the fatest Blue Russion mix you will ever see and has a short tail.

Skittles we call pantaloons because of how her fur grows.

The other kitties get called by thier names
None of the nick names are short for our kitties but rather we use them as thier descriptive names
