I hope this is the right forum for that.
I started growing sprouts last week. I tries lentils and those little green beans (I don't remember how they are called in English) and it was ok.
That last try I made wasn't that good. about 1\4 of the beans didn't sprout, they remain hard. Some of those who sprouted looked spoiled.
Any idea what could cause it?
what should I pay attention to next time?

but I think having a thread on sprouts in the raw food section is really good, too.

I tried again with beans from the same package and I think this might be the problem. I'll try to buy new beans today.

This is my second day of trying to sprout lentils. I'm so excited. I can see the tiny little sprouts already. I hope they do ok.
