Hi everyone,
I recently went vegan and started taking cold pressed hemp seed oil to get enough fat in my diet. My curious cat just had to try it, and now she's in love! I literally have to keep her back with one hand while I take a spoonfull. I was just wondering, is it okay for her to drink hemp seed oil? I just let her have a little, but I'm still worried that it's bad for her. Thanks for reading!

hemp seed oil,you say?wow, that's different!i've never heard of that kind of
reaction from that.all this time i thought my cat was strange with his "fix".
my cat reacts in a peculiar manner when i throw a carrot end to him,but it
has to be a raw carrot only to get a reaction from him.he rolls on it,he'll rub
his face on it,he bats it around with his paws and he grabs it with his paws
and throws it in the air.he gets so goofy when i give him a carrot end,you
almost think he got into a catnip patch.

I would just call the vet and ask them. They will be able to tell you if it is bad for the cat or not. Some stuff that is good for us is real bad for cats, such as onions and garlic.
I though my one cat was wierd. He LOVES plums.

on a somewhat similar note my dog has completely devoured every hemp woven leash or collar she's ever had, in addition to entire balls of hemp that i had laying around to make the collars with.
needless to say she now has a "normal" store bought leash & collar.
