Hiya,
Sorry if this is an overworn subject. If anyone has a link or thread that would help me, I'd love it! :D
I found a company in an Asian market today called All Vegetarian Inc. They have "Vegetarian" Crab, Shrimp, "fish" fillets, etc. Are they REALLY vegetarian? I mean, no oyster sauce, anchovies, fishiness or anything? So many products say Vegetarian, but include things that I consider animal products. I've called the company and got no response. Looked on the Web, no info. I even looked at the new FDA Allergen listings and it still leaves doubt. (But then again, this is the FDA.)
Any help appreciated, Thank you all very much for being here!

I would want to double check just in case (maybe write or call again) I don't think they'd name their company All Vegetarian Inc and claimed their food was vegetarian if it wasn't. Although, some people have different definitions of exactly what vegetarian is.
If you find out it isn't all vegetarian, let us know...so we can complain!:D
It's hard to tell without seeing what the ingrediants for their products contain. Not all things that are called vegetarian are so reading lables are always good if you have access to the ingrediants. Like DelicGrape said try getting a hold of the company. If you hear nothing and feel like eating something you aren't sure if it is vegetarian or not, I'd stay away from it.

Chances are it's all ok. Certainly all the stuff I've found in the UK has been vegetarian.

Thanks, guys! For some reason my computer didn't ever show any replies when I checked back. I really appreciate everyone's help. :)
A persistent Roomie called the place again and talked to a rep. He insists they are 100% vegetarian, no oysters, fishiness, etc.

I've ordered veggie fish, crab, etc... from this website:
www.vegecyber.com
(some of their stuff has whey but all the ingredients are on the website).
