Here we go:

http://veggieboards.blogspot.com/2006/04/mankind-benefits-from-eating-less-meat.html

That was a great article. And this is what I said, just so you know it was me ( I posted anonymously)

I love how they call non- animal based sources of protein 'novel'!(NPFs).As though they were new... although the sad thing is they are to so many people. Some people I've spoke with have honestly thought animal protein was the only form you could digest?!?

Great article though! I hope this makes headlines in N. America!

That's intersting, but it sounds a bit like they're using the college kids. The veg food businesses care as much about a profit as the meat packing ones do! Though that is a bit obvious, that's why they exist, this kind of makes it obvious. But otherwise, that's great! I know many people who have had trouble with meat in college.

I'm the one who posted as bethany!
And That was DISGUSTING! I mean, 'I caress your glazed flesh?' Doesn't seem like she was ever a veg for real. And the movie was obviously just for attention. Yeah, she definetly just went omni again for video purposes. *gags*

I posted as bethany 17.

Did it in: "Mankind benefits from eating less", as euroguy.

Here's what I said:

If enough of us quit eating meat, it will create a shift in the food industry: less animal farms, less slaughterhouses, less cruelty but also less energy loss, less animal flatulence (also an environmental issue!!!), a decrease in the global ecological footprint, (much) healthier people and thus much less government healthcare costs! I think this is an underused argument to convince omnis of the multiple virtues of vegetarianism. Just my two cents...

I feel so used! ;) (but at least this explains things)

It's people like this guy who give people the wrong idea about vegetarianism and veganism. That it's pointless and anyone can fall away from it if they can't resist the temptation to eat meat. I hate it when people boastfully claim they were once a vegetarian or a vegan, but gave it up because it was too hard or that eating free range isn't a bad things.

Also I have the word "hamatarian". It is another pop culture word that will only inspire people to use it and think it is cool. I truely dislike things like that.

Wow i know exactly what you mean. I can hardly believe how so many people believe that their spending habits don't send a message. yet those same people sign every petition and write letters to politician or companies every second day. Which don't get me wrong is great and all, but what sometimes counts more than your voice is your wallet. You could tell countless people to ban fur traps, and write complaint letters until you've killed ever tree in north america, but if your going out to buy a 50000$ fur coat, what are you really acomplishing?

just incase i've also commented on another article because i believe that last one wasn't technically a veggie boards blog...

http://www.blogger.com/publish-comment.do?blogID=17038313&postID=114464776156304108&r=ok

WTF? I do believe that was the most rediculous article i've ever read (this coming from someones who's gramar and synta are this bad >.<). That was not only pointless and stupid but I think some of my brain cell may have died. I can only say that i am glad that i read the article instead of writing it and having to talk to this woman.

Also how did she manage to be a vegetarian for 15 years if she could so easy forgot all her mora fibers. Also i would lik eto know where these farms exist.... and why would they exist.. is it just me or does anyone else fail to see the humanity in reading to the pigs or killing them in their sleep.

Also i like fake ham and tofurky, i think their yummy for lack of being able to spell a better word. i can only say from the sounds of thing i am glad i did not watch this movie, frankly this woman scares me with both her stupidity and ham fettish (>.<).

I posted as anonymous. Is that all right? I can go back and register and repost it if it isn't. :worried:

ETA: Never mind. I went ahead and registered as a blogger and reposted it with my user name. The link is still OK.

There's no way to delete the "anonymous" post, though.
