I use Mitchum antiperspirant. It's not natural but at least they don't test on animals.

I use rosewater as a toner. it is cleansing but without anything harsh or alcohol to burn you.

Oh, also:

Kiss My Face daily moisturizer is really good but I personally find it too heavy for daytime but it's a great nighttime cream.

Eco Bella eyeshadows...good quality, comparable to mainstream eyeshadows. Unfortunately, the purple I bought is matte and I prefer shinier eyeshadows but it's not Eco Bella's fault.

deodorant: i swear by Florere Cream Deodorant, no aluminum or chemicals, around $8.50 for a jar, 1 - 2 month supply

toner: thayers rose witch hazel (alcohol free) or braggs apple cider vinegar (smelly but really works!), around $6 for a big bottle - 6 month supply

blemish treatment: weleda diaper care cream - i know, diaper care cream! but the high zinc oxide content really zaps spots for me. around $7 for a tube, probably a year supply. also, mineral clays

moonchild "I am using up the last of my ... lactic-acid containing specialty stuff as I transition into veganism"

I don't know what the inaccurate Peta ingredient list says now, but lactic acid is NOT made from animals.

http://shakahara.com/mindex.html

click on lactic acid.

shakahara is Sanskrit for vegetarian

I can't recommend Cosmedix products enough!
Their website is www.cosmedix.com.
I use their face wash, toner, clarifying serum, and spf. SO AMAZING -- cleared my skin up right away and keeps it so fresh and smooth. HAHA I sound like a commercial, but seriously this stuff is incredible!!!

trader joes used to have these Tea Tree Oil cleansing pads. '
they worked quite well...didnt dry my skin out too much.

using tea tree oil is effective for most people, if you continually use it. if you try it only on a "flare up" it may not be strong like benzoyl peroxide.
i use straight alcohol swabs and an exfoliator should a zit pop up.

you can also make a paste of baking soda, water and dash of tea tree oil and rub on a zit...let it dry and wash off.
