Hey I'm doing a project on Yves and I could use some insider info:
What unique words do you associate with the Yves Veggie Cuisine brand?
-And-
What motivates/drives you to purchase one vegetarian brand over another?

If you work for Yves and want to conduct a survey, why don't you just say so and ask us to complete the survey? I'm sure many people here will be happy to tell Yves what they want, but the way you're going about it strikes me as not completely honest and slightly insulting.

I am a student at Carleton U in Ottawa (Canada)
I am by no means a prof. marketer (although I aspire to be one day!)
If I was employed by Yves, I am sure I would have better means and capital to conduct focus groups.
I appologize if I have offended you, but I'm just trying to get some info for a university project - that aside, I welcome everyones input.
Thanks

Yves Veggie Cuisine........ very few words, actually. I buy their lunch meat on occasion.
Taste, whether it's vegan, and ingredient lists -- the more "natural" words there are, the better. Ie., fewer preservatives and other industrial compounds used for flavoring and texture. "Organic" gets my attention.

Yves to me is always a bit more "rubbery" than some of the other faux meat products out there... and often has a weird chemical-y taste.
That said, I do like their "bratwurst" dogs cooked in sauerkraut.
Oh! And I still remember how tired and hungry we were late one afternoon, doing the tourist thing in Victoria Canada last summer, and how nice it was to run across a street vendor hot-dog stand that had Yves veggie dogs! I was thrilled!
OK, so those are not word associations, those are just my thoughts on Yves... maybe not helpful but the best I can come up with...

Unique words associated with the brand: "Yves"
What motivates me when choosing brands
1. Taste
2. Organic ingredients
3. Environmentally friendly production and packaging
4. Price
Not necessarily in that order chronogically, but in that order of importance.
