Good Job Brianna! You should be very proud of yourself, especially the three times!
Please don't thank me....thank yourself and give yourself on a pat on the back! You deserve it :)

I love Bikram yoga. But this is more inspired by Bikram yoga, as Bikram yoga is a patented yoga and he sues people who use his series, and he charges I think $5000 for the rights.
The class I go to is simply called "hot yoga" and it varies depending on the instructor and their mood, and the room is heated very hot. If it's muggy, which is often in Florida, I sweat buckets and it feels so good.

Yuck. I don't think I'm in the shape to handle the hot yoga yet...lol. I'll just go sit in the sauna ;) (*slacker*)
Today I am going to do 15 minutes on the stairmaster, 45 minutes on the eliptical, and chest/back weights. I'm posted before I go so I feel obligated to do the full workout. Fridays are not my high motivation day!

Hi Hamsters,
Captain, congrats on the LA! You're awesome :wayne:
I've been doing my usuall wieghts classes and runs. Tomorrow I'm doing 14 miles. The Green Bay M is just a couple months away. Training is going good except for a little trouble with my calf muscle....but it's always something :)
Way to go all you Hamsters!!! Keep up the good work!!

i'm starting up a program to get back in shape for my cross country season this summer... sadly my muscle has turned to fat. I'm still skinny and weigh about the same as when im running but its not muscle its fat:( So, i'm starting off slow. I have the first 18 days of my program mapped out, i'm excited! I miss my long runs!
Yesterday: Two mile walk with dog
Today- 4 mile walk up and down hills
ps: does anyone know how many calories you burn walking per mile? i'm planning on walking and using the elliptical every other day

I ran the 5K in a local race this weekend. I started out really strong-for about half the race I was near the front. But my bad knees came back to haunt me.
I had to slow down to a walk for 2 minutes. I managed to finish in 31:07, 21st in my division......Finally went to the doctor where I was told I have "patellofemoral syndrome," or runner's knee. Sigh. No running for 6 weeks. Have to see a physical therapist.......But the good news is: I CAN swim. Did 40 minutes of weights and abs, looked longingly at everyone on the treadmills.

I've had the stomach flu this last week, so I only made it twice this week. Yesterday I did an hour long cycling class, Thursday I did 45 minutes of walking. Lame I know. :( I've been sick though!
